Privacy Policy

Effective 2026-09-24. Applies to both this site and the Hadith Pull Android app.

Hadith Pull is a project for reading hadith narrations. It has no accounts, no servers of its own, and no advertising.

Information collected

None. Neither this site nor the Android app collects personal information, sends it to any server, sells it or shares it. There is no analytics, advertising or crash-reporting software on either.

Network access

Android app: none. Every narration is stored inside the app, and the app has no permission to use the internet. Links such as "View on Sunnah.com" open in your browser only when you tap them.

This site: narrations are served from this same domain — there is no third-party API call to show one. Links such as "View on Sunnah.com" open in your browser only when you tap them.

Data stored on your device

Your bookmarks, folders and display preferences (theme, Arabic script, text size) are stored only on your device — in the app's local storage, or in this site's localStorage, depending on which you use. Neither is backed up or transmitted anywhere, and both are deleted when you uninstall the app or clear the site's data in your browser.

Sharing

When you share, save or copy a hadith card, the app or site hands the image or text to the destination you choose (for example WhatsApp, Instagram, your photo gallery or the clipboard). What happens next is governed by that destination's own policies. On Android 8 and 9, saving a card asks for storage permission, used only to write that image.

Crash statistics

If you have allowed your device to share usage and diagnostics with Google, Google may give the developer anonymous crash and performance statistics for the Android app through Google Play Console. The app itself contains no crash-reporting code.

Children

Both the site and the app are suitable for a general audience and collect no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

Any update to this policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
